Who we are...

We are a community of psychotherapists in the heart of south Austin. We provide therapy to adult individuals, couples, families, and teens. We share a deep belief in the power of healing and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to our clients. We believe in refining our skills through sharing knowledge, continued education, and deliberate practice of our craft. Our group includes independently practicing Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Psychologists. As individuals, we include world travelers, a poet, artists, a birder, gardeners, a massage therapist, spiritual searchers, dancers, cat people, dog people, crafters, yogis, an actor, writers, a knitter, parents, grandparents, weavers, teachers, students, doers, thinkers, and wanderers.

What sets us apart...

The providers at Windsong Psychotherapy each have different areas of interest, skill, and training. Together, we have over 100 years of clinical experience. Our range of education and life experience is broad and varied. Many of us came to psychotherapy as a second career, bringing with us a lifetime of experience in another field. Our collective knowledge base includes psychoanalytic psychotherapy, parent coaching, hypnotherapy, substance abuse treatment, mindfulness and meditation, faith and spirituality, art therapy, movement therapy, and deep trauma work.

What brings us together...

We share a commitment to delivering excellent therapeutic services to our clients. We believe in the importance of continuing education, keeping up with the latest advances in our field, and using interventions supported by research. We value the psychotherapeutic process, not only for our clients but for ourselves. As practitioners, we understand that in order to provide a healing environment for others, we must also do our own work. We are curious, lifelong learners who believe in the power of community and the power of healing.

“I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being."
